“This proprietary blend of Cabernet Sauvignon with a trace of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot features a gorgeously smooth texture rarely achieved in a Cabernet blend in this price range. This new release exhibits aromas of coffee, black cherries and cassis. On the palate, lavender, espresso beans, and blackberry are deftly melded together with a hint of Valrhona chocolate and creamy vanilla oak on the sultry finish that we savored a full 30 seconds. This wine is elegant and complex now yet accessible to enjoy tonight after decanting half hour! We estimate this nectar will peak in balance and flavors in 2012 – 2013. HIGHLY recommended.”

Sourced from the prestigious
Stagecoach vineyard overlooking Napa Valley, this beautiful wine starts out with aromas of blackberry, ripe raspberry, and cranberry mingled with mocha, cassis and allspice. Full bodied and luscious on the palate with tannins that are finely integrated with a defined amount of French oak, this wine belies its modest price. The texture is smooth as black cherry, juicy black fruit, and ripe fig tastes capture the mouth with as long lasting finish. This wine is made to enjoy with meals in its youth, however it will continue to gain depth and richness for at least 5-7 years.
