Walking a tightrope between the modernists and the traditionalists, Sergio Molino is crafting Barolos of incredible purity, with a clarity and precision of fruit that is a revelation. They have the "stuff" of traditional Barolos, which becomes evident as they age, but what is amazing is that they are approachable younger without giving up anything in the long run. They taste like Barolo, age like Barolo, and develop a certain weight and power as they age, and yet offer immediate pleasures soon after release.
