Tastes? This new 2005 (a blend of 93% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot) combines allthe luscious, plush tannins to guarantee a thrilling experience for many years to come! The new Larkmead features a supple texture with leafy tobacco flavors, rich oak, blackberry and cassis flavors that gracefully glide into black cherry and dark plum. Larkmead's new Cabernet is young and bright, but serious and well balanced with licorice flavors in the front & mid palates that meld into toasty oak on the delightful finish lasting a full 30 seconds.
