Simply stated, this is a VERY impressive wine. The captivating aromas fill the air with rich black fruit, cocoa and hints of vanilla oak. This is a MASSIVE Cabernet blend with exotic dark fruit of blackberry, juicy cherry and currants. The mid palate develops with some dried fruit and creamy oak with hints of mocha. The long finish has soft tannins with bright acidity that carries the fruit flavors on and on for an impressive :30 finish. Enjoy now thru 2015, peaking around 2014 in our estimate. When Livingston was sold to Dana Estate, Trent set off on his own sourcing grapes from his favorite vineyards across Napa. When we asked him why they name he replied: “Because its cool! I always talk about wine being a story and my wife started calling my other wines the screenplay of my life. It caught on and here we are.”
