Tastes?
Tremendous complexity; intense, pure, rich and plush, with dense huckleberry, blackberry, pomegranate, pepper and sage balanced out with luscious components of cocoa, sweet tobacco and a smoky bacon component that true Syrah lovers adore. Yes, we realize all this sounds a bit odd if you’re not already in love with Syrah but trust us that if you’re looking for a uniquely decadent, delicious, and age-worthy wine this is a guaranteed thriller. Deeply concentrated and firmly tannic, it packs a wallop with its flavor and intensity, but also flexes its sizeable muscles. Best from 2006 through 2010.
