When we heard that the winemaker from the Prisoner and Mercury Head was sourcing precious Cabernet grapes from vineyards next to Shafer and overlooking Stag’s Leap “Fay” to make an ultra-lush luxury Cabernet under $100 we pounced on as many cases as we could source. Fortunately, we WERE ABLE to secure enough of the much sought after CAVUS Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap 2005 ($79) to fulfill orders for this week. Trust us, this wine is every bit as decadent as the long sold out Mercury Head Cabernet and considering it’s an even SMALLER PRODUCTION it will sell out this week (remember how fast Mercury left the building?) PLEASE let us know ASAP your desired allocation so we can attempt to fill it.
