Dear
,
Hope all's well and that you enjoyed some tasty wines this weekend!
Big news for you today is the releases of Pride Mountain ‘cult’ winemaker Robert Foley’s private production 2005 Robert Foley Vineyards Reserve Merlot and 2005 Robert Foley Vineyards Reserve “Claret” (Cabernet blend). Robert Foley’s outstanding ‘private’ production wines are made in small quantities from the most prized sections of Pride’s Merlot and Reserve Cabernet vineyards which scored 98 points from Robert Parker for this exact same 2005 vintage! We met with Bob Foley’s winery team to taste through the portfolio and noted the striking similarity between the Foley wines and Pride….except Foley’s wines are almost 1/2 the price and available now in small quantities. Best news we can offer you up to a case of each listed below if you respond today. FREE SHIPPING ON 6 OR MORE (mixed cases included).

2005 Robert Foley Vineyards Merlot $55
Tastes: Fans of big opulent Merlot know that it's hard to find a better one than Pride's but that they're nearly impossible to get. This deadringer for Pride Merlot will have you gushing with praise as it exhibits a dense
ruby/purple color as well as a sweet perfume of mocha, black cherries, smoke, and earth. This fleshy, medium to full-bodied Merlot is ideal for drinking over the next 7-8 years.
2005 Robert Foley Vineyards Reserve Claret $109 (Pride Cabernet is $200+)
Tastes: The prodigious 2005 Claret possesses a dense purple color in addition to beautiful aromas of creme de cassis, smoke, graphite, and cedar. Full-bodied, opulent, and voluptuously-textured with superb depth and purity in addition to a savory mouthfeel, and a surprisingly fleshy, forward personality, it should last for 10-15 years, but who will be able to resist it for that long?
