What Wines are featured in the Porthos Secret Cellar? Three types…
1) Extremely rare “Cult” Wines including rare treasures from Harlan, Colgin, Peter Michael, Bryant Family, and Vineyard 29 just to name a few.
2) The Highest Rated wines from Napa and around the world. These features range from 95 point “Best Buy’s” from the Wine Spectator to monthly offerings for Robert Parker 97 – 99 rated selections and even a few “Perfect 100” point offerings each year.
3) First Mover access to ‘Big Name’ collector wines including such sought after wines as Opus One, Caymus, Silver Oak, etc.

Criteria for featured wines?
The Porthos team samples over 5,000 wines annually. The Secret Cellar represents the most highly rated wines we access as well as the most remarkable tasting wines micro-production ‘boutique’ wines we discover before the critics and collector crowd. For perspective, the production levels on several selections have been less than three barrels (75 cases)! Ratings typically range from 95 – 100 points and prices range from $55 - $1000+ per bottle.
 
What is the Membership fee?
Annual membership rate is $399. New members receive a one time $100 wine gift certificate upon joining.
