Accendo Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Laurea 2021
Details
96 Points | JD
“The 2021 Laurea comes from lots that didn’t play well in the blend, and it’s certainly one hell of a “second” wine. Blackcurrants, cassis, spring flowers, and violets all emerge on the nose, and it's medium to full-bodied, has an elegant seamless mouthfeel, and as with all of Nigel’s wines, ultra-fine tannins.” - Jeb Dunnuck
Winemaker Tasting Notes
“With an inviting bouquet of fresh blueberries, pluots, and dark brambly undertones, this red wine intrigues the olfactory senses with a subtle hint of tobacco and delicate baking spices. The palate artfully balances earthy, terroir-driven elements with notes of dark, ripe fruit. Super ne tannins impart a velvety texture, infusing the wine with great vitality which carries through the long, juicy finish.”
