“The 2022 Pinot Noir The Goddess pours a deep magenta color with a touch of purple and comes from a remote vineyard farmed by Paul Hobbs at 500-600 feet elevation close to the ocean. In the glass, it takes on gorgeous notes of raspberry liqueur, pressed flowers, and fresh forest earth, all very pure and refined. It’s fantastic on the palate, with a plush, refined texture, a medium to full-bodied feel, and an exceptionally long finish. Built for the long haul, refined tannins are impossible to ignore, refusing to release their grip but also never imposing or impeding the 2022’s momentum. Juicy and elegant, there’s incredible pedigree and poise here. Blue-toned fruit and exotic spices linger atop a base of rocky minerals.
