Clos de Tart Grand Cru 2020 Magnum

“The 2020 Clos de Tart Grand Cru contains around 55% whole bunch this year with 65% new oak. It has a very limpid hue in the glass. The bouquet takes time to open but my word, it is beautiful, extraordi- narily pure with black cherries, crushed stone, hints of pressed violet all exquisitely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with a velvety smooth texture, fine acidity, the neatly integrated. Very sleek and sensual on the finish, this is a very sophisticated and somehow “com- plete” Clos de Tart. Around 13,000 bottles produced.” - Vinous

“The 2020 Clos de Tart Grand Cru is brilliant, bursting from the glass with aromas of dark berries, peonies, rose petals, sweet spices, or- ange rind and incense. Full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it’s elegantly muscular and multidimensional, with terrific depth at the core, ample reserves of ripe, powdery tannins and a long, resonant finish. Seamless and integrated, it was blended in the summer of 2021 before returning to barrel to complete its élevage.” - Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
