“The 2021 vintage from this high-elevation Pritchard Hill site delivered another charismatic Cabernet marked by its distinctive black fruit aromatics and volcanic power. The nose opens with the rich scents of wild blackberries, and warm butterscotch. In the mouth, the wine erupts with ripe black fruit – blackcurrant, blackberry, and black olive – lifted by notes of red plum and dried blueberry. The coiled, ultra-fine-grained tannins have an earthy minerality that grounds the wine and ensures years of delicious enjoyment. Warm notes of allspice and coffee bean linger on the savory finish.”
