“The 2016 Rapszodia is just about as good as it gets and is 100% Cabernet Franc brought up 91% new French oak. This inky colored effort offers a truly sensational bouquet of blueberries, black currants, spring flowers, and graphite, with some subtle chocolaty oak and spice developing with time in the glass. While this cuvée was first made in 2010, it's only been 100% Cabernet Franc twice, once in 2015 and now in 2016. All about elegance and complexity, this perfectly balanced, layered wine is a tour de force in Cabernet Franc that will stand up with the greatest examples of this variety out there.
