“On another level and the finest wine I’ve tasted from this estate, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon James O’Neil Founder's Reserve is a spectacular effort loaded with gorgeously pure crème de cassis-like fruit as well as Pauillac-like graphite, crushed stone, and lead pencil nuances. Ripe, full-bodied, and concentrated on the palate, I love its overall balance, it has perfect tannins, and a great, great finish. A blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot, aged 21 months in 79% new French oak, this will stand up to anything out there. It will keep for 20-25 years.” - Jeb Dunnuck
