“Inky and near-black in color, our 2023 The Figure is aromatically complex, with dark red and black fruits, black tea, florals, gravel, smoke, pine resin, and earthy Bordelaise nuances. The palate delivers roasted blackberries, currants, and cassis framed by exotic wood spice and fine-grained tannins. Intense yet lifted, the finish cascades in layers, with freshness that dances over its structure. This wine will reward patience — we recommend decanting if opened before its fifth birthday.”
