“The second bottling of this wine, and it shows understated grace, tension and fine purity. There’s lovely tension, with aromas of sliced lemons, crushed wet stones, flint, citrus blossoms, chalk and sea spray. The palate is mid-weighted and taut, with mineral drive and vibrant, almost electric acidity that keeps you salivating for minutes. This is tense and nervy, with all the flair of the great chardonnays of the world. Made from clone 76, and deserving of a spot at any international chardonnay tasting. Brilliant.
