“Perfumed with the essence of Pinot Noir, this wine from the Estate on Westside Road immediately lures and captivates the senses. Hints of sandalwood, nutmeg, and other wood spices gently support the red fruit notes. The iron-rich red loamy soils on the hillside above the Russian River allow for perfect ripening of the fine-grained tannins to develop. Flavors of pure red fruit, sassafras, and Oolong tea stain the palate leaving a long impression as it transitions to minerals on the finish. An outstanding wine of refinement that will develop well with time.”
